“I have been meaning to write to you for some time now in appreciation of what you and your staff have done for myself and my family over the past few months. As you are aware, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer in July this year and was given a pretty poor prognosis. My doctors gave me a 50/50 chance of surviving the next 12 months.
Some four years ago, you encouraged me to take out appropriate insurance on the basis that things can and do go wrong and it is always wise to cover for these events. I’m only 40 years of age with three young children and one of those events certainly came up for me.
Your advice and assistance in establishing my insurance policy has contributed greatly to removing any current (and future) financial stress for us.
Should the worst happen and I not survive this, I have the knowledge that my wife and family will now be well cared for financially in the years to come. Also, the care and support your office has provided us and the assistance in processing our claim quickly has made a big difference to our lives. So much so that it is hard to put into words exactly how much of a relief this is.
The only thing that comes close to me expressing this is to pass on the fact that my recent test results from the doctor show that my relevant cancer markers in the blood test have reduced from 2,900 to 92 (in only 4 months) and the tumours have reduced in size significantly. My oncologist is quite simply amazed by these results now giving me a far greater chance at survival – even to the point of discussing possibly surgery next year which was not an option when I was first diagnosed.
I strongly believe that a lot of these results came down to the fact that I am relatively stress free and your assistance in my insurance claim plays a very major part of that.
As I said, it is very difficult to convey just how much of a difference you and your office have done for myself and my family. I can only hope that one day I can repay this to all of you.”
